At noon today we were at 14 110N 070 02W steering 230M, sailing under 2 reefs and 3 furls at 5 knots. The wind was 18G23 from the E. Our noon to noon distance over the ground was 132nm. Distance to go was 640nm.
Sunrise Today
Again conditions have remained stable. Little change in wind speeds and less change in wind direction. We're certainly getting assistance from current, as expected. Sunny skies continue with small cumulus clouds during the day and only a few of them at night.
The Sargasso weed has increased today. We're using a boat hook to swipe weed off the WindPilot water vane. As it accumulates weed it becomes ineffective. Thankfully we have a telescopic boat hook which can easily push the weed down and off the water vane.
Trust all's well where you are.
