Tyrrel Bay (Carriacou)

Hi everyone,

Tonight will be our seventh night at Tyrrel Bay on the island on Carriacou in Grenada.  It's been a very relaxed week indeed.  We've spent time with friends on UK sv Matusadona, Kiwi sv Cerulean, Aussie sv Ari, Aussie sv Zoa, UK sv Lady of Lorien, UK sv Serenity Now and UK sv Walkabout.

It was nice to catch up with Chris on sv Ari.  Last time we saw him was at Cartagena in Spain.  And nice to meet Mick of sv Zoa from Mandurah in Western Australia.

It was especially nice to have sv Lady of Lorien catch up with us again after our time together in Bequia.  We did several runs ashore together as they prepare to haul out their boat.

Also nice to spend a little time with sv Walkabout.  We first met them in Dominica with a group of other OCC boats.

And they say Australia's dangerous!

Several of the yachts we've met here are heading for Grenada for the hurricane season like us.  It'll be great to spend more time with them there.

Tomorrow we plan to sail the 30nm south to Port Louis Marina in Grenada.  That'll bring our Caribbean dry season cruise to a conclusion.  Looking forward to the showers and pool there!  We'll stay there for a month at least.

Trust all's well where you are!
