Hi everyone,
We stayed in Annapolis for a week. It's a wonderful city. We moored Zen Again in the small craft mooring area just beyond the Spa Creek Bridge.

Annapolis was our first chance to give Zen Again's new Highfield dinghy a trial. It is 2.0m in length, vice the 2.3m of our previous dinghies. She has an inflated floor and inflated keel. The latter stops her skidding around corners - a huge improvement. We took her ashore at Ego Alley and at the yacht club.

Again we scored Guest Membership at the Annapolis Yacht Club (thanks Brian!). This gave us access to the club, their dinghy dock and water supplies. Their showers are amazing with complementary towels & toiletries. Drinks are reasonably priced, and without the 20% tipping which seems to be the new normal. Very nice meals on offer too with a great view over the harbor.

We enjoyed exploring Annapolis again. This time we got further out of town to visit a mall and Bacon's chandlery. And we sampled one or two pubs downtown.

The Spring Boat Show was on while we were in town. It's much smaller than the main event in October but we inspected a couple of yachts, bought a couple of good torches and I scored a pair of deck shoes at 50% price. The Pride of Baltimore was at the show and we took a look at her too.

On Sunday we had afternoon tea at the Reynolds Tavern to mark Nic's upcoming birthday. It's a historic old pub and very posh.

On Monday we took a group of friends out sailing on the Bay. It was an lovely sunny day and great to have friends Sharon, Jo, John and Gil out on Zen Again.
