Acklins Island to George Town

Hi everyone,

We're now anchored off Stocking Island opposite George Town on Great Exuma Island.  We had a good passage with winds varying from light to moderate from ENE to ESE.  A nice beam reach with occasional periods of broad reaching.

The very light wind patch lasted for about 3 hours yesterday afternoon.  And we sailed slowely through the pass into Elizabeth Harbour under reefed main only for about an hour.  Given this I reckon we did pretty well on our average speed.

Coming into Elizabeth Harbour involves some dodging of bombies.  But they're well charted and we had 0.5m of tide above chart datum to help.

Heading west towards to the anchorages

Overall it was a very pleasant sail.  The full moon was spectacular.  A couple of huge cruise ships passed by, looking like Christmas trees.  And Zen Again trucked along nicely throughout.

Looking forward to exploring Stocking Island and George Town this week.
