Hi everyone,
We've been in Curacao for nearly three weeks now. Longer than expected due to our buddies on sv Cerulean needing to replace a rudder bearing. We took the opportunity to replace our ageing (and failing) AIS, but that's a story for another post. We've been having lots of fun exploring the island.

See below for definition of 'Dushi' |
We've been into town several times now. The bus service is pretty good and we've gradually learned our way around. Willemstad's a pretty place.

For two days we hired a car and toured the island. We found some nice snorkelling beaches and visited the Sheta Boka national park. All well worthwhile.

We spent one of our days in Willemstad touring the museums. The biggest is Museum Kura Hulanda which has many Africa and slavery-related artefacts. We visited the Maritime Museum which is also very good.

There are quite a few places to visit around Spanish Waters where we are anchored. A short walk away is Tugboat Beach which has very good snorkelling over a sunken small tugboat. There are also a bunch of cafes/bars around the anchorage.

And a little further away is a small Van den Tweel supermarket. The bread here is very nice, as is the Dutch beer! And close to the supermarket is a beach resort where one can eat at Koko's cafe. Very nice spot.
We've really enjoyed our extended stay in Curacao with the Ceruleans.
Trust all's well where you are!
